Here are the current closings, delays and/or early release times due to Hurricane Dorian as reported to the WJBF NewsChannel 6 newsroom:

Richmond County Schools – Closed through Friday, September 6th. All extracurricular activities also canceled. All RCSS 10, 11 and 12 month employees not directly supporting relief efforts will not report to work.

Allendale County Schools – Closed Thursday, September 5th. Early release at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th.

Burke County Schools – Closed Thursday, September 5th.

Bamberg School District One – Early release at 1pm Wednesday, September 4th. Closed Thursday, September 5th.

Bamberg School District Two – Closed Thursday, September 5th. Early release by 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th.

Barnwell School District 19 – Closed Thursday, September 5th.

Barnwell School District 45 – Closed Thursday, September 5th. Early release Wednesday, September 4th: Barnwell Primary and Barnwell Elementary Schools dismiss at 12:45pm. Guinyard-Butler Middle School and Barnwell High School at 1:15pm.

Jenkins County Schools – Closed Thursday, September 5th. Early release at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th.

Screven County Schools – Closed to students and staff Thursday, September 5th.

Williston School District 29 – Closed Thursday, September 5th. Early release Wednesday, September 4th: Kelly Edwards Elementary School will dismiss at 12:30pm. Williston-Elko Middle and High Schools will dismiss at 12:45pm. All schools will operate on a normal schedule on Friday, September 6th.

Denmark Technical College – Closed Thursday, September 5th.

Georgia Southern University – Classes cancelled through Thursday, September 5th.

USC-Salkehatchie – Closed Thursday, September 5th

Allendale-Barnwell Counties Disabilities and Special Needs Board Administrative Building and Day Service – Closed Thursday, September 5th.

Child’s World Daycare and Academy (Waynesboro) – Closed Thursday, September 5th.

First Peter Baptist Church (Bamberg, SC) – Wednesday Bible Study cancelled.
