Tropical depression on horizon for start of season

(CNS): A broad area of unsettled weather that has brought a deluge of rain to the Cayman Islands over the last few days may become a tropical depression before the week is out. The National Hurricane Center in Miami said conditions are becoming more conducive for further development of the system by Saturday as it drifts towards the Yucatan Peninsula. With a possible storm on the horizon right before the start of the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season on 1 June, Cayman is also expecting to see the heavy rains continue well into next week.

Currently the Cayman Islands National Weather Service is calling for cloudy skies and a 60% chance of showers and some thunder, with local flooding in some areas throughout the rest of this week, the weekend and into next week.

    Don’t let this climate fool you. This is global warming in deguise. Just remember this:

    Drought == Climate Change
    Rain == Climate Change
    Sunny == Climate Change
    Snow == Climate Change
    Windy == Climate Change
    Hurricanes == Climate Change
    No Hurricanes == Climate Change
    Polar ice caps melting == Climate Change
    Polar ice caps growing == Climate Change
    Climate Chaging == Climate Change

    (Also now beware of the “Polar Vortex”, of course as a result of *climate change*)

    All of the above == Grlobal Warming arrmegeddon so give the carbon tax collexcting globalist more carbon taxes so the can fix the ionasphere and make the climate the “correct climate” globally.

    You’re not smart enough to understand the climate, we have to leave it to the climate explainers.

      They need to tax that volcano in Hawaii! That thing is spewing out some seriously harmful gasses!

        Imagine thousands of factories and coal burning power stations, hundreds of millions of cars over the last 150 years and you really think that it can’t be having any effect on the earth? Humans have a knack for throwing natural environments into disorder, we destroy ecosystems and environments around us and expect everything to stay the same. We mutilate forests and fill the oceans with garbage and expect everything to just disappear out of sight out, of mind. Even a few degrees change of the global surface temperature (and ocean temp) could be the difference between Cayman being above water or below it

        The thought of even taking the risk with climate change should be enough to spur people into action, sadly people won’t care until the water is at their door, or the runaway greenhouse effect is too far gone to stop and we slowly suffocate in our own atmosphere. The atmosphere that has protected and sustained us for hundreds of thousands of years.

          Well it won’t be the end of the world will it? It might be the end of the human race but the earth will continue to exist and will eventually recover from our destructive ways.

      I wish the religious among us would be as skeptical of their own beliefs as you are of climate science
      They can ask for evidence of climate change (of which there is almost endless amounts) but if you ask them for one iota of proof in their religion or belief they have nothing to show for it. Somehow believing in climate science is ridiculous and believing in an invisible sky god who is three people but really one person and has a plan for everyone and everything but lets us have free will is sensible. The just good God who has left us for thousands of years to suffer and perish on this mortal coil, punishing the son for the sins of the father (literally), doesn’t seem very just to me.
      It has always amused me how they can denounce one as fake and made up even with evidence staring them in the face, but then they turn around and actually believe the thing with nothing but anecdotes and a collection of letters and texts collected hundreds of years later and put together by an entirely group of people, then edited and translated multiple times over hundreds of years.

      One is fake even with evidence and the other has no real evidence but is the highest truth somehow?
