LEADING TO AN ARREST IN LANCASTER COUNTY. THE COMMUNITY CAME TOGETHER TO REMEMBER THE MORE THAN 200 VICTIMS WHO DIED IN THE NIGHTCLUB ROOF COLLAPSE IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC ON TUESDAY. THE ROOF OF A POPULAR DOMINICAN REPUBLIC NIGHTCLUB COLLAPSED DURING A CONCERT. 190 189 PEOPLE WERE RESCUED, MORE THAN 200 WERE INJURED, AND THE DEATH TOLL IS CURRENTLY AT 226. NEWS EIGHT’S TAYLOR HESS WAS AT THE VIGIL HOSTED IN LANCASTER COUNTY AND TAKES US INSIDE THAT CEREMONY. IT WAS A HOME AWAY FROM HOME FOR MANY HERE IN LANCASTER CITY, AS THEY JOINED TOGETHER TO REMEMBER THEIR LOST FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT THE SAME. NO, WE ARE. WE CAN’T FIND HIM. I’M LIKE, WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN’T FIND HIM? AMBER MUNOZ SAYS TUESDAY WAS JUST ANOTHER WORK DAY UNTIL HER COUSIN GAVE HER THE NEWS. NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR. MAYBE HE IS ALIVE AND YOU’RE PRAYING THAT, LORD, IF HE’S STILL IN THERE IN THE RUBBLE. YOU KNOW, JUST KEEP HIM ALIVE AND MAYBE WE CAN HAVE HIM BACK. HER COUSIN’S HUSBAND, WHOM SHE CONSIDERED A BROTHER, WAS AT JET SET NIGHTCLUB WHEN THE COLLAPSE HAPPENED. BY THE TIME THEY FOUND HIM, IT WAS PROBABLY AFTER WEDNESDAY NOON. SO IT WAS OVER. A DAY OF AGONY THAT YOU DON’T. YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. NOW SHE’S JOINED BY THE COMMUNITY TO STAND IN SOLIDARITY AND REMEMBER HER COUSIN’S HUSBAND AND THE MORE THAN 225 PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES. In Lancaster County, the community came together to remember more than 200 victims who died after a nightclub roof collapsed in the Dominican Republic. On Tuesday, the roof of a popular Dominican Republic nightclub collapsed during a concert. One hundred and nine people were rescued and more than 200 were injured. The death toll is currently at 221. On Saturday, the Dominican Association of Lancaster and the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home paired up to host a memorial service for everyone who lost their lives at the Jet Set Night Club. During the service, they read aloud the names of every victim and had signs that translated to "one heart." The day was a chance for the community to not only grieve together but to unite and honor those who died and the families that are suffering from the tragedy. "When we are crying, we cry together also today. That's why we are here. We are grieving and we want to make sure that all of us can have a secure place, a safe place," said Dominican Association President Zarita Herasme.
