Pulse is scrubbing in to join the likes of Grey's Anatomy and Netflix's new medical drama features some familiar faces.
Set at the Maguire Medical Center in Miami, Pulse shows life-threatening surgeries alongside office politics and personal relationships which inevitably spill into the operating room.
The Netflix original — which premiered on April 3 — dials up the drama even more as a hurricane makes its way toward the hospital and priorities conflict. Ultimately, those in charge must make last-minute decisions to keep the emergency room running and put aside personal turmoil in the interim.
"For people who live and who work in the medical world, their job is all-consuming," co-showrunner and executive producer Carlton Cuse told Tudum.
Over 10 episodes, viewers watch how dynamics change between characters in Pulse, who are played by notable actors, including The Fall of the House of Usher alum Willa Fitzgerald, One Day at a Time's Justina Machado and Shōgun star Nestor Carbonell.
So what shows and movies have the cast members of Pulse worked on in the past? Here's everything to know about the actors' résumés, including where fans might recognize them from.

She has a complicated romantic relationship with her colleague, Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell). Things become more difficult when Xander deals with consequences, and Danny is promoted to chief resident.
“Danny is incredibly resilient and driven. She’s also an incredibly compartmentalized human,” Fitzgerald told Tudum.
Before joining the team at Maguire, she appeared in the Netflix limited series The Fall of the House of Usher, as well as Reacher and Scream: The TV Series. She also starred as the Lady in 2023’s twisty thriller Strange Darling.
