He was released last month and landed at the Atlanta airport Tuesday evening."After two years and four months wrongfully detained by the Taliban in Afghanistan, you are back home in Atlanta, at the airport where you worked as a Delta airline employee?" a reporter asked."Yes sir," Glezmann replied."What is in your heart at this moment?" the reporter asked."Oh my god, gratitude. Immeasurable gratitude to Delta and the people involved in my release. To my lovely wife, to my coworkers, to Dr. Young. I mean, I'm ... I'm overwhelmed," Glezmann said.Glezmann is a mechanic for Delta Air Lines. A Georgia man is back home more than two years after being kidnapped by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

George Glezmann was abducted in 2022 while on vacation in Kabul and held prisoner by the Taliban. He was released last month and landed at the Atlanta airport Tuesday evening.

"After two years and four months wrongfully detained by the Taliban in Afghanistan, you are back home in Atlanta, at the airport where you worked as a Delta airline employee?" a reporter asked.

"Yes sir," Glezmann replied.

"What is in your heart at this moment?" the reporter asked.

"Oh my god, gratitude. Immeasurable gratitude to Delta and the people involved in my release. To my lovely wife, to my coworkers, to Dr. Young. I mean, I'm ... I'm overwhelmed," Glezmann said.

Glezmann is a mechanic for Delta Air Lines. As he mentioned, the airline played a role in bringing him home.
