IF YOUR HOME HAS BEEN DAMAGE FROM LAST YEAR'S STORM SEASON, WE KNOW THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF YOU OUT THERE WHO ARE REPAIRING AND REBUILDING YOUR HOMES. BUT TODAY YOU CAN PRE APPLY TO GET SOME HELP IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE LEE CARES. HURRICANE HOUSING RECOVERY PROGRAM. YOU MUST BE A LEE COUNTY HOMEOWNER AND INCOME ELIGIBLE. SO REQUIREMENTS ARE SET AT 80% OF THE AREA. MEDIAN INCOME ADJUSTED FOR HOUSEHOLD SIZE. FOR EXAMPLE, ONE PERSON MUST MAKE UP TO $52,000 A YEAR WHILE A HOUSEHOLD OF TO MAKE UP TO A LITTLE MORE THAN 59,000. YOUR HOME'S DAMAGE MUST HAVE BEEN CAUSED FROM THE 2020 FOR STORMS LIKE A LEAN IN MILTON AFTER INITIAL SCREENING, YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT A FULL APPLICATION TO PROCEED WITH GRANT PROCESS. According to the county, you can pre-apply for the LeeCares Hurricane Housing Recovery Programs leeflcares.com.
