The Asheville Police Department is looking for a man after an armed robbery and assault that happened at an Asheville apartment early Monday morning.Officers said they responded to an apartment in the 100 block of Bartlett Street around 2:40 a.m. on Monday to investigate a report of an armed robbery. Officers spoke with two victims who told officers that two men had entered the apartment. while they were sleeping and assaulted them. When one of the victims attempted to call 911, the suspects took their phones and ran, police said.
