New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the minimum temperature will fall in the coming days and the cold will wreak havoc rapidly. However, the minimum temperature is unlikely to drop much this week. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the fog has started in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana. A thick covering of fog has started forming in these states, which has started affecting the movement.

At the same time, the country's capital Delhi also recorded a slight cold this morning. The minimum temperature was recorded at 13 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is likely to be 22 degrees Celsius. The air quality in the national capital remained in the poor category today with Pusa Road recording AQI over 400. Next week, many states including Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar may see fog outbreaks. IMD has told in the latest forecast that the center of the cyclone can be formed in the Andaman Sea this week i.e. by December 4. It can take a big form in the next 24 hours. Due to this, there may be rain in Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu along with the coastal areas on 5 December.

Srinagar recorded another coldest night of the season as the severe cold wave continued in the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir. Srinagar recorded a low of minus 2.2 degrees Celsius, 1.3 degrees below normal, a MET department spokesman said. Earlier on Tuesday, Srinagar had recorded the coldest night.
