The Miami Hurricanes may have played their spring game last week at Hard Rock Stadium, but their work continued this past week with an additional three practices on Greentree.
Saturday, though, Miami wrapped up the spring with a final situational scrimmage in which coaches did their best to try and get the younger players the most work.
The best news post-scrimmage? According to Hurricanes coach Mark Richt, Miami made it out of the scrimmage with no injuries.
“All the situational stuff was against each other. Some was ones versus ones, some was ones versus twos,” Richt said describing the format of the scrimmage. “Then at the end we pulled guys that have played a lot of football and didn’t play them a lot. There were more guys, probably, on defense that didn’t get reps than on offense, because we don’t have a bunch of guys have played enough to think that they didn’t need more work.”
