Bishkek, July 12, 2018. / Kabar /. Highly skilled specialists treating cancer arrived in Kyrgyzstan from Turkey. They will hold meetings with local colleagues and tell about the latest achievements in the treatment of cancer patients.
Dr. Typhoon Khanjilar said that within two days he and Dr. Abut Kebudi will consult on new methods in therapy.
"In recent years, medicine has made a major breakthrough in radiation therapy, and we are here to talk about these achievements. We are for the first time in Kyrgyzstan. Before that, I participated in similar seminars and consultations in other countries," Dr. Khanjilar said.
He noted that for today patients with oncological diseases can receive proper treatment here, at home. An exception may be cancer of the brain or lungs, which require special apparatus.
"Consultations will be provided to both patients and doctors. In addition, we will present our colleagues with new methods of therapy," the doctor said.
The specialist added that the upcoming meetings were initiated by the Kyrgyz side, and an invitation to visit Kyrgyzstan for meeting with local colleagues was accepted with great interest. The guests from Turkey will hold consultation meetings with doctors today, and tomorrow they will visit the National Oncology Center in Bishkek.
